There's bad to go with the good., By This review is from: Pioneer DEH-P6800MP CD/MP3/WMA Receiver (Electronics) Nice unit, until you drive at night. The blue face lighting is ridiculously bright, literally creating a glaring light source in the dash. The display dims, but the very bright buttons on the left do not. Avoid these units until this fault is addressed!!Otherwise, the units perform as promised, with just a few hickups in the control interface. For iPod control (the reason I bought mine) it does an acceptable job, but scrolls with a twist of the wrist, some three titles at a time. It takes several minutes to scroll through to an album in the center of the alphabet, and you have to keep on top of the task or it quickly flips back to the current song display losing your work. The intuitive control behavior would have been that holding the joystick style control downward would have scrolled at an increasing rate to speed down a list. Still, compared to others on the market, the $270 Premier version of this model of Pioneer (mine) is quite acceptable in most... Couple it with the CD-ib100ii and you'll have one of the best sounding IPOD car set-ups out there. I prefer it to any other deck with only Alpines nearing the sound quality. The IPOD functionality is amazing having a click wheel on your CD unit. Even better is using the incl. remote control to adjust playlists... much more accessible than any other headunit for music than anything this affordable.
